Thinking of bringing your crew down to The Boxcar? We love a good party—but here’s the lowdown so we’re all on the same page:

​

Big Groups (15–60 people) Reservation: 
Your best bet is booking SLOTS are 4:00pm, 7:30pm or 11:00pm on weekends. After that, we might be able to squeeze you in—but keep in mind the bar holds 60 standing max, and we’re still open to the public. We’d rather not play reservation roulette—we’ve got bills to pay and drinks to pour.   We love to open early for large groups as well and these times are not set in stone so please let us know what works best for you.

-Make sure your party shows up on time as most bookings are allocated a 3hr reservation* 

-This is a reservation (we are open to the public) vs Buy out (private and you made a $1000 deposit).

Adults Only:
We’re a Liquor Primary spot—which means 19+ only. No babies, no toddlers, no preteens with fake IDs. Leave the kiddos at home and come let loose properly.

Private Buyouts:
Want the whole damn place to yourself? We can make that happen. We’ve hosted sports viewings, day parties, and yes… even a funeral once. (Long story.) Email us directly to lock it in,  info@boxcarvancouver.com

Food Game Strong:
Our neighbours at Mortadella Pizzaria make the kind of pizza that makes grown adults cry. Top 5 in Vancouver every year since they opened. For private buyouts, we can arrange catering too—because booze without food is a rookie move.
